As an employee of  a large corporation I grew tired of working hard in a hostile work environment. I sent in my letter of resignation with two employee discount cards enclosed in the envelope. Over five weeks later the original envelope was returned to my home with a " Wrong Address/Return to Sender" stamped on it. I was unloading the car from being away at work so I placed the envelope aside, thinking," Odd, did +$@?* ^&$% not get my letter of resignation? "

   After I got settled I picked up the traveled looking original envelope that had been returned, noticing the large swath of tape holding the obviously opened envelope closed, I poked my finger under the edge of the tape and wedged it open. Inside my sent envelope was my letter of resignation minus the two employee discount cards. To my surprise, the person who had taken possesion of my employee discount cards, had swapped them for a large black and white photo of our president Barrack Obama.

   Did human resources make the exchange? How many other former employee's have their letters of resignation mail frauded back to them with a photo of Barrack Obama in it? Who has my employee cards?

   I have told this to just a few folks and every single one agrees it was to harrass me and make me feel bad. The only time I ever asked off for some days off, I was denied and my supervisor John said and I quote," I heard you didn't get'em off cause you're a conservative." It all just makes me so mad and so sad at the same time just to mix into a salty anger that feels wronged. This corporation employs 54,000 employee's and I feel I am the only one who got their letter of resignation returned to them with a photo of Barrack Obama. This deliberate act only reinforces to me the hostile work environment and blatant discrimination I incurred for being a conservative.
